About this product

Waacab 6 Sq. mm Tinned Copper Solar DC Cable is TUV certified, double insulated and built with tinned copper conductors for long-term corrosion resistance in outdoor rooftop conditions.

The cross-linked polyolefin insulation is rated for a 25-year service life under continuous UV exposure across a -40°C to +120°C range — far beyond what ordinary PVC house wiring survives on a hot Indian terrace, where cable failure is one of the most common causes of long-term generation loss.

Supplied in 500, 1000 and 2000 metre rolls in red and black. Choose your roll length in the quote form below, and tell us the colour split you need.

Questions about this product

Why not use ordinary house wiring for the DC side?
Ordinary PVC-insulated house wiring is not rated for continuous UV exposure or the temperatures reached on an Indian terrace, and it is not rated for 1.5 kV DC. It hardens and cracks within a few years, which causes insulation failure, earth leakage and generation loss. Solar DC cable uses cross-linked polyolefin insulation rated for 25 years outdoors.
What is the price of WAAREE solar panels?
Solar module pricing moves with cell and glass input costs, order quantity and delivery location, so we quote live rather than publishing a list price. What is the minimum order quantity?
Solar panels are supplied by the pallet, with a minimum of 1 pallet. Inverters, solar kits and ACDB/DCDB boxes start at 1 unit, and Waacab solar cables are supplied in 500, 1000 and 2000 metre rolls. For larger requirements, contact us for volume pricing slabs.
Do you deliver across India?
Yes. We dispatch pan-India, including to remote project sites. Freight is arranged and tracked by us and you receive dispatch updates through to delivery. Timelines typically range from 3 to 10 days depending on location and quantity.
Are your products genuine with manufacturer warranty?
Yes. Everything we supply is sourced from Waaree Energies Ltd with manufacturer warranty intact. Warranty certificates, test reports and DCR declarations are supplied with every dispatch.

What payment terms do you offer?
Standard terms are advance payment against proforma invoice. For repeat buyers and established EPC partners we can discuss part-advance and balance-against-dispatch terms. All invoices are GST compliant with full input credit available.
